South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics has started to deliver a software update for its Galaxy Note 3 devices in Europe, namely firmware version XXUBMJ1.

The new update is available for both Exynos 5 Octa and Snapdragon 800 versions of the smartphone, though there’s no specific info available on what has been changed.

The new firmware release is said to have already arrived on Galaxy Note 3 units on shelves in France and Russia, and it should reach more markets in the not too distant future.

As SamMobile notes, the update might be meant to address the performance issues that the phone’s camera has been experiencing, though there’s no confirmation available on this.

The update should become available via Kies as well soon, yet users can already find it available for download online. Stay tuned for more on this.
