Although the Galaxy Nexus was spotted in Verizon Indirect CelleBrite systems two days ago, as Nexus Prime, it appears that the smartphone showed up again, but now with the correct “Galaxy Nexus” name tag attached to it.

Reddit user Krimit04 who is working at a Verizon indirect agent was excited to report that the Galaxy Nexus showed up in his CelleBrite system recently.

The news is that this particular Verizon indirect agent has a licensing agreement with CelleBrite that allows it to be updated with certain software after approval from Verizon Corporate, which means they usually receive official updates to their machines “shortly before launch.”

Obviously, this piece of information doesn’t reveal any new details on the exact release date of the Galaxy Nexus, but it’s a piece of the puzzle that suggests that Verizon is close to introducing the smartphone.
