It looks like WIND Mobile will be releasing the Galaxy Nexus earlier than expected. Although the latest hearsay pointed to a possible February 6 release, the carrier is preparing to launch the Android 4.0 smartphone three days earlier.

The folks at MobileSyrup have just learned that WIND Mobile plans to launch the Galaxy Nexus on February 3 for as low as $249 (190 EUR) on WINDtab+.

Customers who want to avoid being tied by a long term contract will have to pay $599 (455 EUR) upfront or $449 (340 EUR) on WINDtab.

It looks like the carrier’s teaser that said Galaxy Nexus will be available just “in time for Valentine’s Day” was a bit uninspired, especially that it got customers the feeling that WIND Mobile wants to push the launch of the smartphone for a few more days.
