Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus has now a bit more to offer to its users, as an unofficial Netflix HD application was just made available for them.

The new software comes from the guys over at XDA-Developers and offers users the possibility to take advantage of the HD screen that this mobile phone comes to the market with.

Unfortunately, it seems that not all things have been put in order so far, and that users will not be able to enjoy viewing videos in full screen.

Even so, the playback quality that users will benefit from is still much better than what the official Netflix application has to offer. It works best with Android 4.0.2, but experiences issues with other Ice Cream Sandwich flavors.

The official Netflix HD might arrive on Galaxy Nexus as well in the near future, though no info on when that might happen emerged for the time being.
