One of the most appealing Android-based mobile phones that wireless carrier Verizon plans on adding to its offering in the near future is the Galaxy Nexus, and accessories for it have already started to emerge at Big Red.

Galaxy Nexus cases have already started to arrive on Verizon's stores, showing that the release date is near, although we don't know for sure which day the carrier set for the launch, as Droid-life states.

Rumor has it that the mobile phone would become available at Big Red on November 21st, though some claim that the operator might actually launch it a bit sooner than that.

One way or the other, it should not be too long before the handset's official release date is unveiled, although Verizon might be busy with bringing the Motorola DROID RAZ and HTC Rezound to shelves before Galaxy Nexus arrives.
