The app can be installed on most devices, including those with custom ROMs

A new Notification Center application is now available for download for the owners of unlocked Windows Phone devices, coming from the same developer as the previous such software, namely Windows Phone Hacker.

However, as WMPoweruser notes in a recent article, the new app is quite different from the previous version, and can be installed both on handsets that can run any XAP, and on those that can run any EXE (a feature common in custom ROMs).

The application will not require access to an online service as it used to, it seems. It has been designed so as to cache incoming toast notifications, but won’t be able to cache non-push messages (that includes texts, emails, calls, and more).

Users who would like to learn more on the app should head to this page on the dev’s website.
