Foursquare, the team that developed the popular application with the same name, has just announced a new update for their Android version.

With the latest version of Foursquare, users will be able to find personalized recommendations for whatever they need. This is all possible courtesy to the Explore feature, which is available as a new tab in the application’s user interface.

In addition, the new update brings menus and price listing for lots of restaurants. Support for Android Beam on Venue is now available as well.

Those complaining about the application scrolling speed will be happy to know that Foursquare improved scrolling speed throughout the app.

Foursquare is now available as a free download in the Android Market and is fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and greater.
