This holiday season, Windows Phone devices are cheaper than expected in the United States, and Samsung’s Focus Flash is one device sporting a low cost when purchased on contract.

Wireless carrier AT&T has just brought the smartphone down to only 99 cents for the holiday season, and all those who would like to purchase an affordable yet highly functional device are invited to give it a try.

Running under the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system, the Samsung Focus Flash will also provide users with $25 worth of applications, all available for free as part of a special promotion Microsoft put in place for users.

You can find the smartphone available for purchase either at various AT&T locations around the country, or on the carrier’s website. Just keep in mind that it requires the signing of a two-year contract. Otherwise, you will have to pay $399.99 (around 299 Euros) for it.
