We reported a few days ago that Sony Xperia Z1 (C690X) owners had started to receive a new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware update, and now it looks like the same update will be rolled out to additional Xperia models.

Thus, XperiaBlog reports that firmware version 14.2.A.1.136 has been recently certified at PTCRB for all Xperia Z1 models (C6902, C6903, C6943, C6906), Xperia Z Ultra (C6802, C6833, C6843, C6806) and Xperia Z1 Compact (D5503).

This update is said to add a White Balance application that allows users to set the whites of their smartphones as they like. In addition, some bug fixes and minor improvements are likely to be included as well.

We will keep an eye out for when Sony starts rolling out the update to Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Z1 Compact, so stay tuned for more info on the matter.
