14 DAY TRIAL // Social networking giant Facebook is reportedly getting ready for the launch of a new service aimed at mobile phone users, one that should turn out to be some sort of a news reader, a recent article on The Wall Street Journal unveils.
Apparently, the service would provide owners of mobile devices with access to news coming from other Facebook users and from publishers, all put together in a design specific to mobiles.
Facebook is said to have been working on this project for about a year now, and it should be able to provide users with access to it in a format that resembles that of magazine-like applications already available on smartphones and tablets.
For the time being, however, no specific info on when the news reader will become available has been provided.
