It brings lots of UI improvements and a few new features

Facebook application for BlackBerry devices has just received a major update, which is to be tested before it goes live on BlackBerry World.

Those who already own a BlackBerry Beta Zone account will be able to download and install Facebook 4.2 on their devices, whereas the rest must wait until the testing process is successfully completed.

Here are the changes included in the latest version of Facebook for BlackBerry, courtesy of CrackBerry:

- Right to Left language is fully supported; - Ability to unlike a page functionality; - Ability to share a post to user’s own timeline, a friend’s timeline or a group; - UI improvements in messages quick view (unread messages are easier to distinguish); - UI improvements for messages screen (unread messages are easier to distinguish); - Unread notifications are automatically marked as read when user exits the application or refreshes the notifications quick view; - Removed the "Refresh Messages" option from options screen. User will receive messages as long as the push notifications are enabled; - Improved photo loading time from News Feed.
