Facebook for Android is not too popular among the social service’s addicts, on the contrary. It appears that Facebook has yet to make a stable and fast Android application for its social network, but at least it is trying.

The latest update that has just been pushed to Google Play Store promises under the hood improvements and lots of bug fixes. However, there’s no telling if these will fix some of the issues that users have been reporting for quite a while now.

Anyway, Facebook has announced that the latest version of its official Android app features more efficient memory use. Developers have also added a new option that allows users to delete life events. As mentioned earlier, some bug fixes have been included as well.

You can now download Facebook for Android 4.0.0.26.3 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
