One of the most popular mobile games for Windows Phone platform, FIFA 2014, has just received its first update since its release back in February.

Although the game comes with 34 leagues, more than 600 licensed teams, and no less than 16,000 players, Windows Phone users have been complaining about the fact that its controls are hard to master.

Players claim the FIFA 14 can be a bit wonky at first, but thanks to the fact that it’s very well optimized for Windows Phone platform, it’s playable enough.

Anyway, Electronics Arts seems to have listened to players’ feedback and decided to patch the rather difficult to use controls. This comes more than a month since the game’s launch, which says something about developers.

The latest update for FIFA 14 is meant to improve controls of the game, but EA has yet to confirm it via the official changelog.

Still, players who updated to the latest version claim the game’s controls are now easier to use. Other under the hood changes may have been introduced as well, but without an official changelog there’s no way to tell for sure.

You can now download FIFA 14 for Windows Phone 1.0.0.1 for free via Windows Phone Store. Keep in mind the game is only compatible with devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
