Electronic Arts has just announced that its sequel to the “Real Racing” highly-acclaimed arcade game for iOS platform is now available in the Android Market.

Although the developer never offered the first installment of the series to Android users, it appears that “Real Racing 2” offers a lot more than the first game.

Players can drive any of the 30 official licensed cars, including the 2010 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500, 2010 Nissan GT-R (R35), 2012 McLaren MP4-12C, and more. There are 15 racing locations that feature almost 40 miles of high-res race tracks, speedways and city circuits.

“Real Racing 2” is now available as a free download in the Android Market and is compatible with devices running Android 2.1 and up. However, unlocking the full version of the game is only available via in-app purchase.
