Microsoft and Nokia are determined to bring dual-SIM Windows Phone handsets on the market and they would not be more popular anywhere else than in India.

Go Android reports that a senior Nokia India executive officer has confirmed for its blog site that Nokia plans to bring at least one dual-SIM smartphone powered by Windows Phone platform in India.

The device is said to arrive sometime in March, along with the dual-SIM Nokia X (Normandy), which is said to be launched under the Asha series of smartphones.

Unfortunately, aside from the fact that it will come with dual-SIM support, nothing else is known about the dual-SIM Windows Phone device that should be introduced in India next month.

We suspect that the upcoming device will be officially announced in March, but it might go on sale a few weeks later. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
