Samsung is slowly rolling out the affordable Galaxy Y Duos smartphone in Europe. Announced back in February, along with Galaxy Y Pro Duos, the handset is already available in several countries.
Today, the handset manufacturer announced the upcoming availability of the Galaxy Y Duos in Germany. The smartphone is priced at 249 EUR (325 USD) outright and is expected to hit shelves within the next few days.
As the name suggests, Galaxy Y Duos is a dual-SIM smartphone, which is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
Hardware-wise, the device is equipped with an 832 MHz single-core processor, 160MB onboard memory, 512MB of ROM, 290MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32B).
It also features a decent 3.14-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 240 x 320 pixels resolution, as well as a 3-megapixel rear camera with video recording.
