With less than a month left until the official unveil of Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, the unannounced Nokia Lumia 635 makes an appearance at FCC (Federal Communications Commission).

This would be one of the upcoming smartphones that are expected to ship with Windows Phone 8.1, which is why we suspect Nokia will launch it after Microsoft’s BUILD developer event, that is set to take place in early April.

The folks over at Phonearena report the dual-SIM version of the previously leaked Lumia 630, namely the Nokia Lumia 635, has recently gotten FCC’s approval, so we should expect it go official pretty soon.

According to the official documents filed at FCC, the Lumia 635 will come with dual-SIM feature, and “both SIMs use the same antenna and transmitter chain,” which means it will support dual standby.

Aside from the fact that it supports two SIMs, no other details on the smartphone’s specs have been provided in the FCC’s documents.

However, previous rumors suggest Nokia Lumia 635 might sport a large 4.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that would support 854 x 480 pixels resolution.

In addition, the smartphone might be powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
