Nokia 220 was one of the new devices announced by the Finnish company last month at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014. The device has already been released in several countries, but it has only reached India today.

Indian retailer Mahesh Telecom has just announced that it has received the dual-SIM Nokia 220 in stock and is now selling it for only Rs 2,699 ($45 / €32).

This is one of the cheapest dual-SIM feature phones available on the market, so Indian customers will probably be pleased that they can now get one for such a low price.

For the price they pay, customers will get a 2.4-inch display that supports 240 x 320 pixels resolution, along with a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera with video recording capabilities.

The handset comes packed with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB) and a decent 1100 mAh battery that should provide many days of use.

It is also worth mentioning that the dual-SIM feature phone comes preloaded with some of the most popular social apps such as Twitter and Facebook, but it also packs 6 Gameloft games (Asphalt 6 Adrenaline, Assassin Creed, Block Breaker 3, Brain Challenge 3 and Modern Combat 2).

Other highlights of the affordable handset include: Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB 2.0, FM Radio and EDGE connectivity. Are you going to get one?
