Motorola has already released Android 4.4.2 KitKat for Moto G, but only the single-SIM version has received the update over the last couple of weeks.

There are some countries where the upgrade is not available and some carriers have yet to approve it, but Motorola has already pushed it in most regions.

Well, it looks like the US-based handset maker has just kicked off the rollout of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the dual-SIM version of Moto G.

GSMArena reports that the update is now available for download in Malaysia and is about 230MB in size. It brings optimizations, a new Dialer app, better Hangouts app with SMS/MMS support, and new Photo gallery with Auto Awesome feature.

Given the fact that the update is pushed OTA (over the air) in stages, it might take a while until it reaches all countries, so make sure you check regularly for availability.
