Microsoft announced quite a few low-end Windows Phone handsets in the last couple of months in its attempt to seize as much market share as possible.

The Redmond-based company has been focusing on the low-end smartphone market for quite a while and left those who prefer high-end smartphones can choose from a few devices that were released last year.

One of the new low-end smartphones announced by Microsoft last month, Lumia 532, has just been introduced in India where it will go on sale beginning February 20.

India will be the first country to get the Lumia 532 and customers will be able to purchase it for only Rs 6,499 ($105 / €90) outright.

Lumia 532 will ship with Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim firmware onboard. This is a budget-friendly smartphone that sports a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution display, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a VGA front-facing camera for video calls.

On the inside, Microsoft smartphone will be equipped with a 1.2GH quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 128GB).

Last but not least, the Lumia 532 offers dual-SIM support and it will be powered by a decent 1,560 mAh battery. Keep in mind that Microsoft has already confirmed that Lumia 532 will receive Windows 10 for Phones at some point this year.
