Indian OEM Lava Mobiles is back with yet another budget-friendly Android smartphone that should hit shelves in the next couple of days, the IRIS 402e.

Do not confuse the new smartphone with the slightly older IRIS 402 and IRIS 402+, which are already available for purchase in India.

Lava IRIS 402e has yet to make its debut on the market, but given the fact that the smartphone has already been listed on the company’s official website, we expect it to go on sale soon.

There’s no word on the price for the moment, but judging from the specs confirmed, this one should be fairly cheap. For example, the IRIS 402e is equipped with a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 512MB of internal memory.

In addition, the smartphone sports a small 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display that supports 320 x 480 pixels resolution. It also comes packed with a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera, a secondary VGA photo snapper for selfies and a 1450 mAh battery.

Last but not least, Lava IRIS 402e offers support for no less than 10 Indian languages, as well as dual-SIM capability. As expected, the smartphone will ship with Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.
