The smartphone has already been confirmed by Idea Cellular

Indian carrier Idea Cellular is about to release a new affordable dual-SIM smartphone, the Idea Whiz. The handset has just been listed on the network operator’s official site, so we expect that it will go on sale pretty soon.

According to fonearena, Idea Whiz will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box and will pack a decent 1GHz dual-core processor.

In addition, the smartphone features a 4.0-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution and a 5-megapxiel rear-facing camera with LED flash, autofocus and video recording. A secondary VGA camera for video calls is included as well.

Idea Whiz is a 3G-enabled smartphone that also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity.

Other highlights of the phone include: 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (32GB) and 1500 mAh battery. Check it out here.
