Dropbox’s Android client has just received a small update that fixes a major issue and adds a new feature for those who actively upload photos from their smartphone’s cameras.

First and foremost, developers have announced that they have fixed a Camera Upload issue that was inadvertently introduced by Android 4.4.2 KitKat platform.

This issue was only affecting Dropbox users on devices powered by Google’s latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.

Another addition to Dropbox’s Android client is a new option that will allow users to limit Camera Uploads to only photos. These are the only changes included in this update.

You can now download Dropbox for Android 2.3.12.10 for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.1 and up.
