Dropbox for Android is evolving towards a new major release, and the team of developers behind it is currently providing users with a glimpse at what’s about to come.

The upcoming release will focus on providing users with an enhanced experience when it comes to enjoying photos and videos uploaded from the smartphone’s camera.

There is a new photos tab included in the application, along with UI improvements and updates all around Dropbox for Android. Various bug fixes and other small enhancements were also included in the new release.

Uploads are now in the menu in the files and folders browser, the team notes, adding that the app has an ICS look even on devices running earlier flavors of Android.

The new app iteration is not a final build, which means that there still are some issues that could affect user’s experience. You can download the new Dropbox for Android Build 2.1.90.1 from Softpedia via this link.
