An updated build of the WhatsApp application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone 8 smartphones out there, namely version 2.11.344.

The new app release arrives on handsets with various bug fixes packed inside, though the available changelog does not detail them.

At the same time, the updated software delivers a nice range of enhancements that were included in the 2.11.340 release, made available for download only a few days ago.

Windows Phone 8 users with WhatsApp installed on their handsets can now send existing (pre-recorded) videos to their friends, while also being able to send multiple photos at the same time.

WhatsApp for Windows Phone allows users to connect with other people using the service regardless of the platform they are on, as mobile clients are available on Android, BlackBerry, iOS, and Symbian as well.

You can download WhatsApp for Windows Phone 2.11.344 from Softpedia today.
