Owners of Windows Phone 8 smartphones out there can now download and install a new flavor of the WhatsApp Messenger application, namely version 2.11.312.0.

The new app release arrives on handsets with a fix for difficulties related to entering the verification code when language is set to Arabic or Hebrew.

WhatsApp Messenger is one of the most popular smartphone messenger applications out there, capable of keeping users connected with their friends even if they are on other platforms out there, such as Android, BlackBerry, iOS, or Symbian.

The messenger can be used over both 3G and Wi-Fi networks, allowing users to send free texts, pictures, audio notes, and video messages to their friends. The service is free for the first year, and costs only $0.99/year after that.

You can download WhatsApp for Windows Phone 2.11.312.0 from Softpedia today.
