Another day, another WhatsApp Messenger update goes live. Although it hasn’t been pushed onto Google Play yet, those who wish to download and install the latest version can do so via the developer’s site.

According to WhatsApp, the latest update for their messaging app brings some miscellaneous bug fixes, as well as performance and translation improvements.

These are the same changes included in the last 4-5 WhatsApp Messenger builds, which means developers continue to polish the application even though it’s not showing on Google Play.

We expect more updates to be released in the following days, so stay tuned for more info on the matter.

WhatsApp Messenger 2.9.6178 is available as a free download via Softpedia and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
