The application now offers instant voice messaging capabilities

An updated flavor of the Viber application is now available for the owners of Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1 devices out there, namely version 4.2.1.0.

The new app iteration was meant to provide users with some appealing features and enhancements, one of which is Hold & Talk, a brand new capability that offers instant voice messages to all of them.

Moreover, the updated software comes with a new standalone sticker menu, while also packing support for more languages, including Persian and Bulgarian.

According to the available release notes, the update comes with a series of design improvements as well, including a new call screen and default background. Moreover, it will provide users with faster conversation loading, as well as with a series of other performance enhancements.

Viber allows users to easily connect to their friends using text and voice, while also enabling them to send photo and video messages worldwide. The app can be used both over Wi-Fi and 3G networks.

Moreover, Viber allows users to make calls to non-Viber mobile and landline numbers at low rates, in the form of Viber Out. The service is available on various mobile platforms out there, as well as for desktop users.
