It's featuring improved background playback, various bug fixes

Developers of VPlayer for Android have just released a major update that brings important improvements and bug fixes.

First of all, the background playback has been improved so users can now enjoy it from the notification bar. Furthermore, online video and audio files can now be cached to external storage, which will boost network performance.

With the latest version of VPlayer, users will be able to tune the seek interval from Preferences. The video mode can now be remembered for each file and the following issues have been addressed:

- various audio bugs; - MMS termination.

VPlayer Video Player 3.1.7 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.3 and up. Check it out here.
