Shortly after releasing a new version of their popular UC Browser application for Android smartphones, the folks over at UC Web announced that a beta iteration of their browser for tablets was available for download.

Although this is not the final version of UC Browser for Android tablets, developers have announced that the application is pretty stable and brings new features, and users might want to try out.

According to the official changelog, the video watching experience has been enhanced, so users will now be able to watch videos in full screen via a brand new exclusive video player.

In addition, the menus have been optimized and redesigned for easier usage in both portrait and landscape modes. More features are likely to be added by the time the final version gets released, so stay tuned for more info on the matter.

UC Browser 2.4.0 (beta) is now available as a free download via Softpedia and it should be fully compatible with all tablets powered by Android 2.3 and up.
