Today, SwiftKey has announced the availability of a new flavor of its virtual keyboard for Android devices, one that brings along a nice series of enhancements when compared to the previously available iteration.

The new app release is destined to patch some of the issues that users have reported on before, while also improving some of the application’s capabilities.

According to the changelog available for the app, those who will update to the newer iteration will see that Google+ and Gmail authentication is now working with accounts that are not registered on the phone.

Moreover, the app has resolved issues with force closes with the expiry messages in the trial version and notifications in some language.

According to SwiftKey, the new app iteration also comes with better Left-Right cursor behavior in Dolphin Browser input fields (though it seems that a known issue regarding Up-Down movement still exists).

Android users interested in enjoying emoji support and number row in the application are advised to go for the beta iteration of the application, since these features haven’t been included in the stable release as of now.

You can download SwiftKey Keyboard 4.4.6.275 for Android from Softpedia today. The application is compatible with all devices running under Android 2.2 or later.
