The new app release brings along SoundHound Headlines to said smartphones, thus providing users with access to full-length song streams, new artists, and more.
At the same time, the application includes Charts, which means that users will be able to keep an eye on the hottest tracks, SoundHound discoveries, and other content.
The release notes for the new application flavor also show the addition of artist and album details, along with the option to save offline searches to history as pending searches to complete later.
Various bug fixes were also included in the new release, enabling users to enjoy a better experience when it comes to music recognition on the go. Users can also access links or YouTube videos from the SoundHound mobile client.
