With support for Android 2.2, smaller font size, bug fixes

Microsoft has made available for download a new flavor of its official Outlook.com application for Android-based devices, namely version 7.8.2.11.48.4848, now offering support for more devices than before.

The application, available for download from this page on Softpedia, can now be installed on Android 2.2 devices as well, and comes with a smaller font size.

Furthermore, Microsoft notes that, starting with this flavor of the software, recipients can see the sender’s name instead of just an email address in mail sent from the app.

Outlook.com 7.8.2.11.48.4848 for Android also arrives on devices with a series of bug fixes packed inside, so as to deliver a better experience than before.

Providing users with the possibility to send and receive emails from their Outlook.com accounts, the application has got a new look and feel recently, as well as support for multiple accounts.
