Today, Opera made available for download a new flavor of the Opera browser for devices running under Google’s Android operating system, namely version 14.0.1074.58201.

The new app release arrives on devices with a series of stability enhancements, while also being set to resolve the black screen issues that affected the application before.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the Opera 14 browser is based on the WebKit standard, as the company decided to move to it to deliver a new experience to its users, while replacing the older Opera Mobile for Android.

However, given the negative response received from users, Opera also decided to bring the older browser back, and made it available for download earlier this week as Opera Mobile Classic, currently available as version 12.1.4.

Opera Mobile for Android, both WebKit and Classic, can be found on this page on Softpedia.
