GeekSoft, the team behind File Experts, one of the most popular Android file managers, has just released a new update that adds some improvements and bug fixes.

Although developers did not announce any new features, File Expert users will be happy to know the latest update brings some performance improvements among other things.

It is also worth mentioning that GeekSoft addressed an issue with Google Drive where the application crashed in certain circumstances. Last but not least, developers confirmed they had updated Japanese and Polish translations.

File Expert 5.1.7 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up. Check it out here.

For those using smartphones and tablets powered by Android 4.0+ and up, GeekSoft recommends using File Expert HD.
