Research In Motion has just delivered a minor update for BlackBerry Bridge application. The latest version of the application will work much smoother on OS 7.1 smartphones, claim the developers.

Although RIM have not published and official changelog, the folks over at CrackBerry confirm the update only fixes an issue for devices that are now running BlackBerry OS 7.1, though these have yet to be detailed.

On a side note, this is the second BlackBerry Bridge update delivered by Research in Motion this month, and we expect the application to be improved even further with future updates. The previous update fixed some BlackBerry PlayBook issues and added a few new features.

BlackBerry Bridge 2.0.0.31 is now available as a free download via BlackBerry App World and it should be fully compatible with all devices running BlackBerry 5.0 and higher.
