14 DAY TRIAL // Avast Software has just updated its security software solution for Android platform. The application now features a simplified Anti-Theft setup, as well as new capabilities and improvements.
According to developers, the Anti-Theft user interface has been completely redesigned, while the uninstall protection of applications has been improved.
Avast! Mobile Security now features File Shield, which can also scans downloads, as well as the options to disable sending SMS to the avast! account.
It is also worth mentioning that the update brings users the option to access a full activity log, along with Vietnamese localization. Last but not least, the developers have introduced folder scanning.
avast! Mobile Security 2.0.4304 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
