Good news for those who wanted to get a glimpse of Stardock's latest Dead Man's Draw for iOS but did not dare pay $1.99 / €1.49 for fear of disappointment.

Developer Stardock has just announced that its smash hit Dead Man's Draw has just been transitioned to a free to play model, which means that iOS users will now be able to download the game for free.

However, those who have already purchased the game have been gifted “a generous sum of in-game currency as a thank-you for their support.”

According to the devs, all the 14 additional tournaments for players launched since the release of the game back in October will be available for free as well.

For those who know nothing about the game, Dead Man’s Draw “offers simple but strategic gameplay that boils down the elements of strategy games into a single decision: whether to draw another card that can multiply your riches or lose them all.”

Given that the game is now available for free, iOS users may want to give it a try. You can now download Dead Man's Draw for iOS for free via App Store.

Keep in mind that the game is fully compatible with all iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices powered by iOS 5.0 or later.
