The new release already landed on a wide range of devices

A new flavor of the popular CyanogenMod 10.1 software is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices interested in enjoying some tweaks.

The new release arrives roughly a week after CM10.1 RC4 was made available for download, and suggests that the final flavor of the software should be very near.

Based on Android 4.2, the new CM10.1 release is available for download for a wide range of smartphones, starting with Galaxy S III (for Sprint, MetroPCS, Cricket, and AT&T), Nexus S, Nexus S 4G, Samsung Captivate, Iconia Tab A700, and the Nook Tablet.

Users accessing the CyanogenMod download site will see build available for other popular smartphones too, including the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 10 WiFi, Nexus 7 3G, Wi-Fi Nexus 7, and Nexus Q, Xperia T,V, ZL, and Tablet Z, Galaxy S II, Galaxy Epic 4G, Optimus G, DROID 4, DROID Bionic, RAZR and DROID RAZR, and others more.
