ZeptoLab, the development team behind the highly-acclaimed and multi-awarded ‘Cut the Rope’ mobile game has just announced that it has successfully ported the title on RIM’s BlackBerry operating system.

The little monster Om Nom can now be fed on BlackBerry PlayBook tablets, as the application can be downloaded via App World. However, the game does not come for free, so customers will need to shell out $2.99 to grab this one.

Currently, the ‘Cut the Rope’ is only compatible with BlackBerry PlayBook tablets, but the developers haven’t ruled out the possibility of launching a smartphone version in the near future.

The BlackBerry version features the same physics-based mechanics that made the iOS and Android iterations so popular among gamers. BlackBerry PlayBook owners who want to try this one out should head over to RIM’s App World store.
