Verizon’s Casio G’z0ne Commando smartphone has been quite popular among Android fans, but the Japanese company did not seem interested in launching a sequel.

Well, it looks like Casio changed its mind and the long-awaited sequel to G’z0ne Commando is about to hit shelves in the United States.

Dubbed Casio G’z0ne Commando 811, the smartphone has been recently spotted at FCC (Federal Communications Commission) by the folks over at Blog of Mobile.

The smartphone is expected to receive FCC’s approval in the next few days and might arrive on Verizon’s airwaves in the coming weeks.

For the time being, we only known that Casio G’z0ne Commando 811 will feature a larger screen than its predecessor, dual cameras and LTE support.

Unlike the original G’z0ne Commando smartphone, the upcoming model will be powered by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.
