Less than two weeks ago Google confirmed Verizon customers would be able to make purchases via Google Play store and add it to their monthly carrier bills.

Although the company did not unveil exactly when this option might be available, it did mention that carrier billing for Verizon customers would be rolled out in the coming weeks.

Well, it looks like the time has come for Android users who are also Verizon customers, as the feature is now live and running.

Those who wish to make purchases on Google Play store and want to pay for it when their monthly Verizon bill arrives will be able to do so starting today.

This option was available for other US-based carriers for quite some time now, but for unknown reasons Verizon is among the last to introduce it.
