One of the applications that many Android users have been eagerly awaiting for is CCleaner, one of the most popular pieces of software available on Windows PCs at the moment.

Piriform, the company behind the app, promised a mobile client over a year ago, but it did not announce specifics on how development went until today, when it started to invite people to try out the beta version of their client.

In fact, the company also created a Google+ community page for the mobile application, and all those interested in taking CCleaner for Android for a spin will need to join it in order to do so.

Just as with any other beta testing program, users will need to sign into Google+ (and join the community) with the same account they use to download apps from the Google Play Store.

Moreover, they will need to click on the “become a tester” button in the provided link before being offered access to the application’s page in the official store.

“Keep your Android clean, safe and fast using CCleaner! Piriform, the makers of the world’s most popular PC and Mac cleaning software bring you CCleaner for Android. The ultimate cleaning app for your Android device,” the application’s description reads.

CCleaner for Android was released for all devices running under Android 1.6 and higher, and does exactly what the description above reads, as it is expected to. Head to the said community page to take it for a spin.
