In addition to Studio 5.0 II, Blu Products unveiled yet another cheap Android-based smartphone, namely the Advance 4.0, which will land on shelves with a price tag of $89 (€65) attached to it.

The mobile phone appears set to take on Nokia’s cheap Lumia 520, courtesy of a dual-core processor, paired with 512MB of RAM and Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform loaded on top.

The handset was made official with a 4-inch display that can deliver a 480 x 800 pixel resolution, as well as with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor inside. The same as Studio 5.0 II, it arrives on shelves with a 5-megapixel camera, 4GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot.

Advance 4.0 will hit shelves with 2.5G (GSM/GPRS/EDGE) 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and 3G (HSPA+ 21Mbps) 850/1700/1900 connectivity inside, as well as with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities and GPS receiver. More info on it can be found on Blu Products' website.
