The first BlackBerry 10 smartphone will emerge in stores on that day

Earlier this week, the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone was rumored to be set for an official landing at AT&T in the United States on March 15, yet a new report on the matter suggests that the phone will be released one week later, on March 22.

People familiar with the plan unveiled these details, a recent article on Bloomberg reads. They also claim that the device will start emerging in stores on that day, the news site reports.

BlackBerry Z10 is set to become available for purchase in the United States via T-Mobile and Verizon as well, with the white flavor of the smartphone announced as exclusive to the latter.

The first handset to run under the BlackBerry 10 platform arrives on shelves with a 4.2-inch screen, a dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel main camera, and a front sensor for making video calls.
