Canadian company BlackBerry decided to launch a single OS 10 smartphone back in February, but promised a second device would go on sale sometime in April.

The Q10 is the first BlackBerry 10 smartphone to feature both touchscreen display and QWERTY keyboard. Unlike the Z10 which is a full-touch handset, the Q10 is a traditional BlackBerry device.

Unfortunately, the smartphone is not yet available but BlackBerry already unveiled its specs sheet and design.

According to the press renders published by BlackBerry, the Q10 should be launched with woven glass back cover.

However, as CrackBerry points out, Vietnamese blog site Genk had the chance to play with an early developer unit which seems to feature a rubberized battery cover.

Obviously, this doesn’t mean BlackBerry decided to replace the initial woven glass material with the rubber, but it would be nice if the handset maker will offer customers a choice. Stay tuned for more updates on this one.
