With Z10 paving the way for BlackBerry 10, the Canadian company is preparing to launch its second next-generation device, the Q10.

There are only a handful of carriers that decided to skip the Z10 and offer the BlackBerry Q10 instead, and Sprint is one of them.

Fortunately, Canadian carriers did not follow the same marketing move, so BlackBerry fans can choose either of the two handsets.

Furthermore, Bell is the third Canadian operator that opens pre-registrations for BlackBerry Q10, the first BlackBerry 10 smartphone to feature a physical keyboard.

For those unfamiliar with the device, BlackBerry Q10 packs a dual-core TI OMAP 4470 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and 2GB of RAM. There are 16GB of storage inside, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD memory card.

The smartphone also sports a 3.1-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports 720 x 720 pixels resolution, as well as an 8-megapixel rear photo snapper. More details on Q10’s specs sheet are available here.
