Yesterday, the BlackBerry Q10 smartphone has started being sold in Canada through various wireless carriers, including Rogers, where it came with some appealing functionality packed inside.

As a recent article on CrackBerry notes, the device packs AnyPlace TV, a custom-made streaming TV app that enables users to watch sports, news, cartoons, and other shows straight from their smartphones.

The service is available at only $5 per month, but the great news is that users will be able to enjoy it without paying data overages for it until next October.

Additionally, BlackBerry Q10 landed on shelves at Rogers with the Smart Home Monitoring service on it, available at prices starting at $20 per month.

Through it, users will be able to switch lights, change the temperature, or lock and unlock doors in the house straight from their smartphones.
