The latest BlackBerry OS 7.1 for Curve 9350 has finally reached C Spire Wireless carrier. The update is now available for download via RIM’s support site.

However, in order to update to the latest version of BlackBerry, users are required to install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software on their PC.

C Spire Wireless customers who own the BlackBerry Curve 9350 can now download the BlackBerry Handheld Software v7.1.0.1189 here. The update has around 205MB in size and will upgrade the phone’s firmware to version 7.1.

The update will also bring new features, including BlackBerry Tag, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, as well as several improvements in areas such as Facebook, Twitter, SMS & MMS Messaging, BlackBerry Music, Camera, HD Video Playback, and BlackBerry Maps.

BlackBerry OS 7.1 still needs to be delivered in some regions, but RIM promised it would update all compatible smartphones by the end of the year.
