It's been a busy month for Research In Motion (RIM) as the company delivered weekly updates for BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) and improved its main instant messaging clients such as Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk and Yahoo Messenger.

Today, BlackBerry Messenger received yet another small update that fixes a few known issues. Although it doesn't bring any new features, the latest version of BBM is an improvement so we recommend updating as soon as possible.

The following changes have been included with BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) 6.2.0.40:

– Clicking the trackpad in the inline display name or personal message field opens the “My Profile” screen for right-to-left languages; – Please note that issues with broadcast messages appearing in black, or links in broadcast messages appearing in purple, will be fixed in a future OS upgrade.

Keep in mind that BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) 6.2.0.40 is only available for download via Beta Zone.
